A 24-year-old Chelsea Wilson made a plan to steal money from a bank and then abscond in her father’s car with the stolen money.
She made up a story about a job interview in the bank and asked her father to drop her at the bank and wait for her until she finished her interview. Her father agreed.
Wilson’s father drove her daughter to the bank and waited for her to come back after the interview that he thought it was for real. What he did not know was her daughter had some other plan.
According to Police, Wilson came in the bank wearing red wig, a hat and sunglasses, and then she handed the bank clerk a note threatening them to hand over cash.
The note said, “You have exactly one minute to give me all your $50 and $100 bills from both drawers or I will shoot you! No dye packs, no alarms follow these instructions and no one will get hurt, act normal.” according to the criminal complaint.
Wilson came back from the bank with a total of $300 stolen money. She told her father that bank hired her and gave her with a cash advance for new position. She and her father left the bank and went home.
Police were able to identify Wilson and the vehicle parked outside with the help of CCTV camera. It did not take long time for police to locate Wilson. She later confessed to her crimes and was arrested. She also told police her father know nothing about it.
